AFROPLANE SERVICE IN CHINA.

With reference to correspondence which has already

been exchanged between the Government of Hongkong and our

Firm on this subject. Having yesterday received indications

that one of the biggest and best known Firms manufacturing

aeroplanes in England is now prepared to join with us in

seriously developing a flying service throughout China, we

would respectfully ask you to forward an application to the Chinese Government through H.M. Minister in Peking (by despatch or cable as you may see fit) for a charter or

concession in favour of our Firm, which would enable and give

us the right to develop by aeroplane, the postel and other

general utility services in China which we have no doubt the

Chinese themselves would desire to extend.
